I have a friend who is a Dr Pepper addict. When most people start their day
with a cup of coffee, the first place he heads to in the morning when he
gets out of bed is for the fridge and an ice cold can of Dr Pepper. And
that's just where it starts...

A year or so ago he found DP in 8 oz. cans while on travel some where. He's
been desperately looking for them locally, with no luck. He would like to
cut down on his DP consumption, as he's starting to think it may be
contributing to the extra padding around his middle (won't touch Diet DP or
anything else with aspartame in it). He thinks drinking the smaller cans
would help (tho whether he'll really cut back, or just drink 12 8 oz. cans a
day as opposed to 8 12 oz. cans a day remains to be seen).

It's his birthday in a couple weeks and I would really love to get him a
couple cases of the 8 oz. cans. Does anyone know where I can mail-order
them from? Or order them online? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If you're going to the trouble of mail order, you might just look into
8 oz *bottles*
of Dublin, TX Dr Pepper (which uses pure cane sugar rather than high
fructose corn
syrup). Many people think it has a superior taste. It can be ordered
from
<http://www.dublindrpepper.com/>.

I saw those during one of my many web-searches for the cans. If I can't
come up with the 8 oz cans, I may be ordering bottles from TX.

Thanks for the response!

drinking soda everyday will lead to obesity. It has way too much sugar. Soda
is basically flavored syrup cut with water. When your stomach absorbs the
water, the syrup is left in your gut and turns into fat
